The Power of Personal Recovery Stories!

Celebrating and Supporting Recovery
Join Arlington County's Behavioral Healthcare Division to celebrate National Recovery Month for a presentation focusing on recovery, related to mental health and substance use. The presenters will share their compelling stories and how they’ve turned challenges into hope and recovery, and how the Peer Support Profession provides an avenue to help others in their recovery journeys in a non-clinical way.
A brief Q & A session will follow. Light refreshments will be served.
Speakers include individuals who have experienced challenges with mental health and/or substance use. They will talk about how their recovery relates to their role as Peer Specialists and Family Support Partners.
