The host will introduce the movie, focusing on what makes it “oddball.” After the screening, there will be time to discuss the film.

About the film:
This film is the story of a plausible near-future exploration of Europa, a moon of Jupiter that scientists consider a possible location for life beyond Earth. Problems plague the journey, and at their distance from home, the astronauts have no chance of assistance or even prompt communication from mission control. After each adverse event, the crew must make repairs, invent new procedures, and decide whether to forge ahead or turn back.
