Shop Class: Introduction to 3D Modeling - Bobble Heads

Use 3D scanning to capture your head before attaching it to any body you find online. Next, a spring will be incorporated into the model to create a custom 3D printed bobble head!
Participants will scan their heads before using CAD modeling programs to place it onto a body of your choosing. A hole(s) will be added to both models so that a spring can be inserted after the model has completed printing to create a bobble head consisting of both printed pieces.
Patrons leave with the digital model of their characters and are encouraged to return and collect the finished bobble heads after they have completed printing. There is no fee for the 3D printed bobble head.
Registration is required. Ages 14+. Participants ages 14-17 must have an adult present or have a Maker User Agreement signed by a parent or guardian. If you are registered but are unable to attend, we ask that you cancel your registration using the link found in the registration email.
All students must complete a Maker Waiver Agreement prior to participating in this class.
