Shop Class: The Art of Visible Mending - Sashiko Stitching
 

Learn the Art of Visible Mending!
Instead of hiding your mending, highlight it and celebrate the uniqueness of your item. The Shop is offering a three part beginning series on the art of visible mending by hand:
- Oct. 22: Sashiko Stitching
- Nov. 19: Boro Patching
- Dec. 17: Embroidery Mending
Sign up for all three events or just one. Please bring a piece of clothing that needs to be mended or decorated for the Nov. 19th and the Dec. 17th events. Kowledge of basic hand sewing is recommended.
All students must complete a Maker Waiver Agreement prior to participating in this class.
Registration is required. Ages 18+. If you are registered but are unable to attend, we ask that you cancel your registration using the link found in the registration email.
