Tai Chi

Embark on a new adventure and try Tai Chi, also called meditation in motion.
Originating in China, Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that benefits mental and physical health. It improves leg strength, balance and heart function. Different from other types of low-impact exercise, the movements are circular and never forced, muscles are relaxed, and joints are never fully extended or bent.
Tai Chi can be adapted for anyone. Chairs will be available for those who wish to sit during this program. No experience is necessary. All are welcome!
Instructor: Peter Schwartz has been teaching Tai Chai for over 35 years. He is the primary teacher for The School of T’ai Chi Chuan of Metropolitan Washington.
Registration required. For Adults.
