Shop Class: Introduction to 3D Scanning
 
Explore two methods of digitizing our world through this 3D scanning workshop.
Participants learn the workflow of digitizing both their heads and their personal objects using The Shops two 3D scanners. Once the scanning is complete, participants learn how to turn these models into a "watertight mesh." At the end of the class, stuents will have scans that can be submitted to The Shop for 3D printing.
Registration required: Ages 14+. Participants ages 14-17 must have an adult present or have a Maker User Agreement signed by a parent or guardian. If you are registered but are unable to attend, we ask that you cancel your registration using the link found in the registration email.
All students must complete a Maker Waiver Agreement prior to participating in this class.
