Art and a Story: Ojiichan's Gift

For families with elementary schoolers.
Join us for a story and a craft. Hear the story of Ojiichan's Gift, about karesansui, a Japanese type of dry rock garden. After the story, we'll create our own dry gardens and practice the raking technique Mayumi uses in the story for her ojiichan's garden. This program is in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
No registration required. Attendance is first-come, first-served until seating capacity is reached.
