For Grades K to 5

Stress-Free Reading Practice for Elementary School Kids.

The patient, nonjudgmental attention these dogs offer helps reluctant readers gain confidence and improve their reading skills.

Paws to Read is a partnership between the Library and  PAL (People Animals Love). Learn more about the value of reading to dogs from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.

Attendance is first-come, first-served until event capacity is reached. Time slot to read with dog is limited. Please check in with staff at the Service Desk.
