Drop-in to watch a woodturning demonstration.

The Capital Area Woodturners will demonstrate their wood turning skills and answer questions about their craft. 

The Capital Area Woodturners strive to provide education on turning techniques, wood finishing, safety practices, tools and related equipment. Their objectives are:

  • To increase appreciation of the use of wood in functional or aesthetic design,
  • To provide information on educational and exhibit opportunities for turning wood in the United States.
  • To facilitate networking, friendship, and cooperation among woodturners in the area
