Join artist Sierra Barnes as she discusses the art creation process for her first published Graphic Novel, "Hans Vogel is Dead Vol.1".

For this event, Sierra will discuss how she uses the digital art tool Procreate to plot out and create her comic books. She will also share how these tools translate into her digital fabrication projects at The Shop, the Arlington library's makerspace.  Sierra will end the event with an open Q&A for participants to pick her brain.  See more of Sierras artwork at: https://www.sierrabravoart.com/

Sierra Barnes is a comic creator and history buff who currently lives in Washington, DC, making webcomics and print comics based on history and folklore. She is particularly interested in the relationship between history, mythology, and memory, which are reflected in her storytelling. When she’s not making comics, you can usually find her fabricating her digital drawings at The Shop, or haunting boba shops and museums like a very nerdy ghost.
