February is American Heart Month, when the nation spotlights the importance of good cardiovascular health.

According to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, causing one in four deaths each year. Nearly half of all American adults have at least one major risk factor for cardiovascular disease.

Join us for a series of information sessions to learn more about heart-healthy living. Each session will be led by a board-certified cardiologist with a focus on understanding your risk, making healthy choices, and taking steps to reduce your chances of getting heart disease, including coronary heart disease, the most common type.

Feb. 5: Introduction to Cardiology
Feb. 12: Preventing Heart Disease with a Heart Healthy Diet
Feb. 26: Understanding Lipids and Lp(a)
