For Elementary Schoolers

Join us for a double feature. Author, Joy Jones will tell us about one of her books, Jayla Jumps In, in which at a boring family Thanksgiving, Jayla discovers double dutch. Pretty soon, it transforms not only her life, but someone else's.  After hearing from the author, we'll get a chance to see double dutch in action as a professional double dutch squad, the DC Retro Jumpers, show us how spectacular double dutch can be. Participants will also get a chance to try out double dutch for themselves and figure out what Jayla knew to be true: double dutch is a lot of fun.

Registration not required. Admission is on first-come, first-served basis until event capacity is reached.
