Take a prompt to write your own poem for Poem in Your Pocket Day!

Poem in Your Pocket Day is celebrated on April 29 every year to encourage people across the United States to express themselves through poetry. Patrons of all ages can pick up a writing prompt, take home a random pre-written poem, and check out a book of poetry for inspiration.

Where to pick up a Take and Make bag: The poetry display is located near the service desk.
