Envisioning the Colors of Your Rainbow: A Collage & Assemblage Workshop

Celebrate Pride this June by learning about LGBTQ+ artists whose work challenges and inspires us while creating your own ecstatic artwork!
In this workshop led by Library Director Diane Kresh, participants will be invited to use cigar boxes or pre-cut plywood as a base for their collage/assemblage pieces. The cigar boxes, plywood, and materials such as glue, paper, ribbons, fabric, and other materials and supplies will be provided. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own photographs, small objects, or other materials they'd like to incorporate into their artworks.
Light beverages and snacks will be provided, and art books from the library's collection will be available for participants to flip through and check out.
Registration is required. Adults and Grade 6+ . If you are registered but are unable to attend, we ask that you cancel your registration using the link found in the registration email.
