Update: Ms. Niki is subbing for Uncle Devin! She’s a new age cross between Mary Poppins and Ms. Frizzle and she calls what she does edutainment, entertaining youth with education. Dancing to music also helps children build motor skills while allowing them to use their imagination and practice self-expression.
Join us for an interactive, musical experience about enacting change. The Uncle Devin Show® is an interactive musical experience for children by renowned drummer, Devin Walker. A dynamic cross between DC’s Trouble Funk and Schoolhouse Rock, the entire family will experience, and be inspired by, the rhythm of Uncle Devin’s infectious blend of Jazz, Funk, and DC’s official music, Go-Go.

About the Artist: Nicole “Ms. Niki” Addison is a classically trained singer/songwriter from Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts and received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Music Education from Howard University. She released her first children’s single, Music in the Air, October 2018 and will debut her first children’s EP, It’s Music Time with Ms. Niki this fall. Her mission is to teach children music all over the world in an unconventional way. Exposing children to music at an early age helps them learn sounds and meanings of words.
About the Artist: Uncle Devin is a Teaching Artist with both the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning and Teaching for Change and owner of the children’s online music platform, WEE Nation Radio. Uncle Devin is a member of the 1 Tribe Collective. Their album “All One Tribe” was GRAMMY - nominated for Best Children’s Music Album in 2022!
