Join us to celebrate the 2023 Winner of both the Newbery and Coretta Scott King Awards, Arlington's own Amina Luqman-Dawson!
Meet the author, get a book signed, make a craft and play a game as we celebrate Amina's success! Delegate Alfonso Lopez will deliver opening remarks in honor of Luqman-Dawson’s awards for her novel “Freewater".
Light refreshments will be served. Books will be available for purchase, courtesy of One More Page Books.
