Shop Open House Demonstration: Spinning Yarn with a Drop Spindle

Drop-in to watch a demonstration of spinning yarn using a drop spindle.
Spinning yarn on a drop spindle is like magic; you turn a bunch of disorganized fluff into yarn that’s both useable and beautiful. In this demo, with simple technology that’s thousands of years old, the drop spindle, you will learn how to make yarn for knitting, weaving or whatever you want. Plus, it’s fun and relaxing!
