Research Consultations with Center for Local History Staff are available by appointment, and held via a choice of virtual meeting or telephone. Research consultations can be very productive - it is possible that all of your research needs can be met virtually, or we can arrange for specialized materials to be available in advance of any visit. All archival materials are stored off-site, so any use of archival material will require an advance consultation.
The Center for Local History's Research Room is available by appointment for independent use of the special collections and vertical files, or for pre-arranged use of specialized archival material. We strongly suggest making an appointment for a research consultation before considering a visit to the Research Room. Staff will not be available for consultation during these visits.
For appointment options outside these times or for special consideration, please contact the Center for Local History
PLEASE NOTE: The public research computer station in the Center for Local History's Research Room will be bookable and available for patron use beginning on August 6. Please check back for more information.
