Halloween Movie: "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror"

A Silent Film Classic
We're so excited about Halloween that we'll be showing F. W. Murnau's 1922 Dracula film on loop all week at Aurora Hills, starting Tuesday, October 24.
TCM.com describes the film as "one of the most foreboding and influential horror films in the history of cinema... almost kept from the screen when the widow of Bram Stoker, Florence, sued the German producers for unauthorized use of her husband's novel, "Dracula"."
We will position the screening television in an area of the branch where those who prefer not to see scary vampire images will not do so.
Not rated. Black & White, 72 minutes.
Principal Cast: Max Schreck (Nosferatu/Count Orlok), Alexander Granach (Jonathan Knock, an estate agent), Gustav von Wangenheim (Hutter), Greta Schroeder (Ellen Hutter), Georg H. Schnell (Westrenka), Ruth Landshoff (Lucy Westrenka).
