Week 2

Go beyond the coding blocks of Scratch to write your first lines of code using variables and if-statements.

Prerequisites: basic computer skills including keyboard, mouse, and comfort navigating the internet (basic knowledge of Scratch useful, but not required).

 

Join us for any or all 3 of these 1 hour sessions, designed to help adults learn how to code:

  • July 12, 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. - Week 1: Scratch
  • July 19, 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. - Week 2: Beyond Scratch
  • July 26, 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. - Week 3: Beginner Java
