Have you always wanted to learn how to knit or do you need to refresh your skills?

Come to learn the basics and knit a cozy ribbed scarf. Learn to cast on, knit, purl, cast off and how to “frog” your work if you need to. Advanced knitters welcome to join us and work on their own projects.

Materials needed for beginners:

  • 400-500 yards of worsted weight yarn either acrylic or superwash wool. Variegated colors are recommended since the pattern will be very simple.
  • Size 8 knitting needles.  Bamboo needles are recommended for beginners.

And if you’ve read a good book lately, share it with the group.
