Lantern Parade at Penrose Square Winter Wonderland Festival

Arlington Arts is sponsoring the first annual Lantern Parade for the Penrose Square Winter Wonderland festival on Columbia Pike, a fun family event that includes a parade guided by a live band.
In preparation, work with Arlington artist Melanie Kehoss in creating your own distinctive lantern and bring it for the parade.
Workshop dates:
- Saturday, Nov. 12 at Shirlington Branch Library
- Sunday, Nov, 13 at Walter Reed Senior Center
- Saturday, Nov. 19 at Columbia Pike Branch Library
- Saturday, Nov. 19 at Central Library
The parade takes place at 5 p.m.
Arrive early to enjoy refreshments, a Santa Social from 2-5 p.m., holiday sing-along, and a visit from a very special guest - the Yeti! And if you can't make it to the workshops in November, you can make a lantern at the Winter Wonderland with Melanie.
