Night of Horror!

A terrible affliction has befallen the Library, and only you can help us survive...

Warning: Prepare to be scared! This event is recommended for brave teens and adults.

Featuring authors Paul Tremblay, Jonathan Janz and Bill Schweigart. Books will be available for sale and signing following the book reading. Creepy costumes are encouraged! Light refreshments will be served.

Presented in partnership with Fairfax County Public Library.

Get into the Horror spirit (and help us get ready!) with these Maker programs:

  • Sept. 27 - Dolls that Move - Learn about basic robotics and put your new knowledge to use animating creepy dolls and toys.
  • Oct. 10 - Frankentoys - Sew and modify stuffed animals to make Night of Horror props.
  • Oct. 18 - Creepy Mannequins - Paint, destroy, and accessorize mannequins to create Night of Horror props.
