Enjoy bike riding but not sure how to keep your bike in good and safe condition?

Join the experts from Phoenix Bikes for an introduction to bike maintenance at Central Library.

Topics include bicycle and rider preparation for a ride, and basic tool introduction. Also learn how to fix a flat with a hands-on demonstration.

We encourage participants to ride their bike to the library for this event. However, instructors will not be working with participants' own bikes, so please lock your bike outside the library at one of several available bike racks. Thanks for your consideration.

Registration required. This event is limited to 30 individuals, middle school and up (younger participants welcome with an accompanying adult). Also, kids ages 12-17 are welcome to participate in Phoenix Bikes' Earn-a-Bike program. More information about this program and other community programming at Phoenix can be found at www.phoenixbikes.org.

The Arlington Public Library uses subject matter experts from a variety of sources to provide educational public programs. We do not endorse, suggest or recommend a specific company, product or service.
