Take a look back at spies and spy craft during the American Revolution and the early years of our Republic.

As a retired CIA operations officer and consultant to the Department of Defense in the counterintelligence field, and to the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C., Ken Daigler has focused his recent studies on American intelligence activities in the 1765 to 1865 period. His 2014 book, "Spies, Patriots and Traitors," describes American intelligence activities during the Revolutionary Period both within the colonies and abroad. He will discuss the tradecraft of intelligence, counter-intelligence, and covert actions used by our Founding Fathers -- and still relevant today. Mr. Daigler will be happy to sign copies of his book.

Presented in partnership with Encore Learning.
